WHAT WE BELIEVE ...

I. GOD: We believe that God is one and exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)
II. HUMANKIND: We believe that all human beings are sick with a disease called sin. We call sin a lack of reverence for God, lack of trust in God, and to reject and violate the moral law that the Lord has given us in His Word. Sin makes every human being need a Savior (Romans 3:23)
III. The LORD JESUS ​​CHRIST: We believe that the Second Person of the Trinity, the Son of God, is the only hope of being rescued from the power of sin. According to the teachings of the Bible, we believe that in the Lord Jesus Christ, God put aside heavenly garments and became a human being to rescue us (Philippians 2: 6-8). By living a perfect life, dying on the Cross for us, and being raised on the third day, Jesus did what we could never do for ourselves: reconcile us with God (John 3:16)
IV. GRACE - GIFT OF GOD: We believe that God has provided forgiveness through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. We do not deserve God's favor, nor can we gain the favor of God by our own merits. Salvation is offered and received only through faith in Jesus Christ when we believe in Him (Ephesians 2: 8-9)
V. THE CHURCH: We believe that the Church was instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18) and through the Church, the Word of God is proclaimed (Romans 10:17) and the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are administered .
VI. OUR RESPONSE TO THE LORD: We believe the Lord has rescued and healed us for a purpose. We have been saved to impact our world for Christ (Ephesians 2:10). The power of the new life that Jesus gives us, impels us to help others find the rescue and help that God offers (Mark 1:17).
VII.THE BIBLE: We believe the Bible is the Word of God. We believe that we must rely solely on the Bible as the final and unchanging authority in matters of faith and conduct (1 Timothy 3:16).
VIII. MARRIAGE AND FAMILY: We believe and confess that marriage of male and female is created and blessed by God. We teach, and it is our practice that sexual activity must be performed exclusively within the boundaries of a faithful marriage between a man and a woman.
